On May 30, 2025, the MileSteam project concluded with an inspiring final meeting hosted by Onfluence in Amsterdam. Partners from across Europe came together one last time to reflect on the impact of the project and explore how its outcomes can be sustained and scaled in the future.

Held in the heart of Amsterdam, the closing event celebrated two years of collaboration, innovation, and commitment to inclusive STEAM education for students with immigrant backgrounds. The agenda included presentations of national pilot results, testimonials from educators and students, and a showcase of the digital tools, teaching methods, and training materials developed during the project.

Beyond reporting and evaluation, the meeting created space for partners to exchange best practices, share lessons learned, and identify new opportunities for future cooperation. A particular focus was placed on how to integrate MileSteam’s methodology into mainstream education systems and how to reach even more students in need of tailored, empowering STEAM learning.

“What started as a shared vision has grown into a vibrant network of educators and innovators across Europe,” said Dr Ismail Demir the coordinator of this project, during the closing remarks. “The end of MileSteam is just the beginning of broader change.”
