Between October 14 and 16, 2024, students at Meridian School in the Czech Republic took their first steps into the world of robotics and coding through an engaging MileSteam training provided by Code MIT. The sessions focused on building computational thinking, programming fundamentals, and the collaborative construction of robotic systems. Through interactive exercises and team challenges, students learned how to write simple code, understand sensor input, and bring their creations to life. This hands-on approach not only built technical skills but also fostered communication, problem-solving, and creativity— especially among students with migrant backgrounds, who often face barriers to accessing STEAM learning. The training proved how accessible and exciting technology education can be when it’s delivered in an inclusive and supportive environment.
